Is it really snowing? No Really…? It is March 29 and beautiful Indiana weather is not disappointing (Actually that is sarcasm there). I’m tired of this snow. I WANT SPRING!!! Anyways enough of me ranting and raving, my roommate is starting to get a little concerned.
Okay so that was my attitude for part of the day and then I remember, God made this day and He is showing off his beauty through the snow just as much as He is in the sun. Honestly, God could not have chosen a better day to have it snow because it was chili cook-off day at church. What meal is better than over 50 different types of chili to choose from at church? Holy Habakkuk it was fantastic! And having it cold outside makes the chili taste even better.
The church that I have absolutely fallen in love with since coming to Grace had an amazing time to come together as a body of believers and enjoy the blessings of chili this morning! The chili cook-off is a fundraiser for the mission teams supported through the church. Money was placed in jars beside your favorite chili and the chili with the most money wins! It is amazing to see God work to meet the needs of mission teams through a chili dinner. In conclusion I can pretty much say that this is the perfect day that my LORD has made. Bring on the snow, rain, sleet, or sun, everyday is God’s to do great things!
