You may be wondering what a Grace student does on a weekend. Well let me tell you. Most students stay around on the weekend so they have to entertain themselves in some way. We are lucky enough to have an organization at Grace called Student Activities Board (SAB) whose members’ purpose is to plan activities for the campus. Last weekend, SAB took a fan van to Bethel College to cheer on the Lancers Boys’ Basketball team. Grace students packed the Bethel gym and had more fans than Bethel!! We even had thunder sticks which are extremely loud noise makers that give you a headache in about five minutes. We were rocking the school spirit!
This weekend, SAB planned a movie night in our dining hall. It was the classic movie, “Honey I Shrunk the Kids.” The movie was hilarious. Watching it with a bunch of friends and laughing at the cheesy parts such as the nerdy parents and the developing love relationship of the two high school kids is always a good time. Not to mention the free movie popcorn and candy provided!!
I’m excited for the next SAB event which is ice skating. I love watching people fall down. Oops that sounds mean. Of course I help them get back up though when they fall because usually I’m the one who is always falling ;)
